A construction company is seeking Steel Fitters that have MIG welding experience with structural steel. Candidates will be constructing largebeams and columns. Must be able to read blue prints, schematics and layouts. This position will manipulate/move steel pieces around using a hoist/overhead crane. Potential candidates will be taking a MIG welding test. Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Receptive to training with the ability to demonstrate application of techniques and concepts.
• Receives training and instruction on good manufacturing practices and demonstrates the application in all processes.
• Receives training and instruction on understanding standard operating procedures, forms, their purpose and adherence required.
• Receive instruction for medical product assemblies assigned.
• Receives training and instruction on standard operating procedures for movement through the facility, cleanrooms, gowning areas, etc.  Demonstrates an understanding and willingness to adhere to the procedures.
• Receives training and instruction on the conduct of hand and machine-aided assembly, packaging, labeling, cleaning and continual quality inspection of medical products and components and performs the processes after qualification.
• Reports personnel, equipment and facility concerns to line supervision.
• Identifies operational issues/problems and reports them to supervision.
• Ensure clean and orderly production areas.
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to exercise flexibility in support of production supervision by altering assembly activities in order to meet overall shipment deadlines, as needed.
